Frazier Park, California
August 1-3, 2008
The American Jousting Alliance joined in the 41st Annual Fiesta Days celebration on the first weekend of August. A yearly event, Fiesta Days brings together locals and visitors for three exciting days at the Frazier Mountain Community Park. With carnival rides glittering in the background, vendors hawk their wares while the revelers eat, drink and be quite merry. One of the highlights of the weekend is the parade on Saturday morning. Our knights showed up in full costume, entertaining the crowd with sword-fighting and ring spearing in the street.... not to mention throwing a ridiculous amount of candy. Our efforts were awarded with a second place prize in the adult category for representing this year's theme: 41st Fiesta Days, celebrating in 41 ways.
